Converter Design: Assist in the design and development of isolated and non-isolated DC-DC converters, including buck, boost, buck-boost, and flyback topologies
Circuit Simulation: Perform design validation using simulation tools such as LTspice, PLECS, or MATLAB/Simulink
Prototype Testing: Build and test prototype circuits in the lab, conduct validation, efficiency analysis, and thermal profiling
PCB Layout Support: Contribute to PCB layout efforts and component selection to meet performance and reliability specifications
Cross-Team Collaboration: Collaborate with hardware and firmware engineers to ensure seamless integration of designs
Documentation: Document design changes, key calculations, and test results for internal knowledge sharing

βYou are best equipped for this task if you are/have:β
Education: Actively pursuing a Bachelor's or Masterβs degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field
Fundamentals Knowledge: Understanding of power electronics principles, converter topologies, and control methods
Simulation Tools: Proficiency in circuit simulation software such as LTspice, MATLAB, Simulink, or PLECS
Hands-On Testing: Experience with high-frequency DC/DC designs, including switch-mode power supply testing and debugging
Lab Equipment: Familiarity with oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power supplies for validation tasks
Prototyping Skills: Experience with breadboarding, soldering, and building prototypes
PCB Tools: Basic experience with PCB design tools such as Altium, KiCAD, or Eagle (preferred)
Technical Communication: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for reporting and teamwork
