Located at Allianz’s headquarters in Munich, the Global Sustainability department drives the industry-leading sustainability strategy of Allianz Group. It integrates climate, environmental, social and governance considerations in our business and operations. The team also manages societal impact programs and leads non-financial reporting and sustainability ratings projects. We are seeking a motivated intern who is willing to work in an international and agile environment. The internship role is part of the "Sustainability Integration in Business" team. The job focus is to support various business integration projects as well as overarching Sustainability initiatives.
How can you make an impact?
We are looking for a full-time intern only to contribute to our "Sustainability Integration in Business" team within the Global Sustainability Group Center for topics such as:
- Support ESG-related referral activities and communicate with underwriting teams
- Collect and analyze ESG data, relevant for referrals or strategic initiatives
- Support market and business research activities related to insurance
- Support in project and task planning for the team
- Create presentations, reports or other analysis on sustainability topics
What are you made of?
Minimum Qualifications
- Completed Bachelor’s degree (or currently in final semester of Bachelor’s degree) in areas such as Sustainability or Business Administration, Finance & Economics with a sustainability as a focus area, or similar
- Enrolled at university for the entire period of employment or pursuing Gap Year (between a Bachelor and Masters only)
- Previous work experience (e.g. through internships), preferably in an international environment
- Fluent in English and preferably one other language

Preferred Qualifications
- High attention to detail and ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects at the same time in a defined timeline
- Strong analytical skills and methodical / careful data and document management
- Capable of staying focused and attentive to keep productivity and accuracy on track
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel & Outlook. Additionally PowerPoint & Word
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills in an international environment
- High motivation to learn and work in the field of corporate sustainability
