Allianz Global Investors’ Infrastructure Private Debt team is Europe’s largest in its field, with over €28 billion invested across 170+ transactions in the past twelve years. The team specializes in direct investments in infrastructure projects and corporates across Europe, North America, and Latin America, spanning sectors such as transportation, renewables, social infrastructure, utilities, telecom networks, and digital infrastructure. Financing types include acquisition, greenfield and brownfield project financing, and refinancing. The global team of 25+ professionals is based in London, New York, Paris, and Munich. The Paris office, where the internship is based, includes a senior Director, two VPs, and one Assistant VP, offering a collaborative and dynamic work environment.
This role is based in our Paris office.

What you will do
- Contribute to the origination, structuring, and execution of new transactions
- Conduct due diligence and credit analysis
- Evaluate complex project finance financial models
- Perform internal rating assessments
- Draft investment memoranda for submission to the Investment Committee
- Support closing processes, including KYC checks and coordination with internal stakeholders
- Monitor closed transactions and track performance
- Develop internal and external marketing materials.

What you bring
- A valid “Convention de stage” is mandatory
- You are currently in our penultimate/final year in top tier university or business/engineering school
- First experience in investment banking/project finance/DCM or infrastructure financing/investment is a must
- Corporate finance fundamentals (including cash-flow analysis)
- Experience in financial modelling
- Excellent written and verbal command of English and French, fluency in another European language is a plus
- Strong analytical approach Â
- Strong communication, planning and organisation skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Intellectual curiosity and determination to learn
