We are seeking a motivated intern with a background in signal and image processing, computer vision, and machine learning to enhance the capabilities of our hardware. This role involves conducting research and development in image processing for scanning electron microscopy, focusing on designing algorithms to improve image quality, automation, throughput, and robustness of our system.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members to design software solutions that enhance image quality, automation, throughput, and robustness through signal and image processing techniques.
- Work with the team to integrate the developed algorithms into target platforms.
- Conduct research in the field of image processing specifically for scanning electron microscopy.
- Assist in data acquisition, processing, and annotation.
Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of experience in image processing and computer vision, gained through academic projects, thesis work, or professional experience.
- Proficiency in Python and OpenCV.
- Knowledge of machine learning is an advantage.
