About the Role:
Crowdstrike is looking for a summer intern with Intelligence Collection capabilities and a strong interest in cybersecurity and open source intelligence (OSINT).
What You'll Do:
A variety of projects will be assigned with daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines including, but not limited to:
- Collect information to answer established standing and ad hoc requirements related to regional cyber groups.
- Leverage OSINT tradecraft to follow up on leads and identify new threat actors and track them in various online communities.
- Identify current and emerging cyber threats and trends.
- Collaborate on analytical reports and threat estimates pertaining to your regional focus area.
- Employ secure virtual operational tradecraft methods and practices.
- Learn cyber security concepts and threat actor Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs).
What You'll Need:
- Currently enrolled at university in your penultimate year (2027 graduate) working towards a BA or BS / MA or MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math, Information Security, Information Assurance, Information Security Management, Intelligence Studies, Cybersecurity, Cybersecurity Policy, or a related field.
- An eagerness to learn through hands-on experience and collaborative projects specific to your internship field.
- Although CrowdStrike is a primarily remote company, collaboration is intrinsic to the success of our mission. Therefore, the strongest applicants will be those who can communicate effectively and frequently, and work well with fellow interns and employees.
- Experience in researching and translating.
- Familiarity with cyber slang / terminology related to eCrime
