We aim to successfully assist in the management and implementation of a portfolio’s investment strategy. Implementation Analysts take responsibility for helping implement investment ideas, allowing investment management teams the time and space to concentrate on making investment decisions.
An Implementation Analyst's main stakeholder is their Investment team; however, they also provide a vital link between Operations, Client Service teams, Product Management teams, and the Fund Manager. They will work closely with the Fund Managers and Implementation Team to calculate and implement trades across all Portfolios on the desk. They will also assist with maintaining and managing cash balances and ensuring all trades comply with client/fund guidelines and in house compliance rules. A good Implementation Analyst has to be able to meet the following criteria.
‍
1. Â Â 2-5 years in portfolio implementation relevant experience
2. Â Â Have the support and trust of Investment colleagues when conducting the day-to-day as well as any ad-hoc investment implementation
3. Â Â Have good knowledge of operational processes, business and market requirements.
4. Â Â Have a good understanding of guidelines and regulations of mandates and funds managed by the investment desk
5. Â Â Possess strong knowledge of regulations and execution processes for all markets included in desk strategies.
6.   Well versed in the Group’s policies and processes, including for e.g. the Risk Event Reporting procedures
