The Fixed Income Implementation team at Schroders plays a pivotal role in translating investment strategies into effective portfolio actions. Our team draws upon extensive expertise in fixed income markets, derivatives, and operational best practices.
We maintain a strong partnership with Schroders’ investment professionals—collaborating closely with portfolio managers, trading desks, and risk management teams to bring investment ideas to life with precision and transparency. Our approach upholds robust risk controls and a focus on operational excellence, aligning every trade and action with our commitment to client mandate, regulatory integrity, and seamless execution.
As an Implementation Analyst within the Fixed Income team based in Singapore, you will support the portfolio management process through the efficient and accurate implementation of investment decisions. This role works closely with Fund Managers, acting as a conduit between investment intent and operational execution—designing, proposing, and executing procedures that ensure portfolios align with client mandates and in-house guidelines.
The successful candidate is detail-oriented, performs the responsibilities with integrity, proactive in problem solving, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This ensures investment outcomes that benefit the clients and support the continued growth of the Schroders Fixed Income business.
Core responsibilities include raising and sizing trades across a range of fixed income instruments (such as foreign exchange, exchange traded derivatives, and over-the-counter derivatives), monitoring trade restrictions and portfolio activities, managing cash flows and hedging requirements, and coordinating trade settlement. You will play a key part in rebalancing strategies, transition management and fund restructuring, and implementing portfolio risk management using derivatives.
The role also entails cross-functional collaboration—liaising with teams across the business to ensure accurate trade execution, ongoing maintenance of portfolios, and the delivery of high operational standards. You will be expected to contribute to system and process improvements, thereby driving better efficiency and control in portfolio implementation.
