In the Solutions Engineering team, we design SoC-s for various application segments, using the latest IP products from Arm. We need creative and curious students to join the team and take part in the development process of our systems. The internship duration is approximately 6 months (can be full-time or part-time), starting in 2026.
What you could be doing as a Hardware Designer Intern?
- Be involved in the design process of a SoC by integrating the latest Arm IP products while ensuring correct functional behaviour.
- The responsibilities might include developing RTL code using System Verilog, running EDA tools to check the design and analyze results, identifying and fixing bugs.
- Work directly with expert engineers across the company to build next-generation systems having access to the newest technology. Be part of a growing, fast-paced, and fun team!
We are looking for individuals who:
- Are currently enrolled and studying towards an Electrical Engineering or Computer Science Degree (Bachelors, Masters or PHD students welcome). Candidates with alternative degrees will also be considered if they have relevant experience.
- Good English communication is required to succeed in our multi-national environment.
Qualities that will help your application stand out:
- Understanding of SoC / ASIC (or FGPA) design methodologies and techniques.
- Knowledge of a hardware description language (Verilog or VHDL)
- Experience with scripting languages, such as Python/TCL/Perl/PHP
- Use of Linux and shell programming, Makefiles, GIT
