THE ROLE:

AMD is looking for a highly talented engineer to join our Server Platform Solution Engineering (SPSE) team as a Graduate Trainee working on platform designs, validations, and solutions to help our customers win with AMD EPYC systems. This engineer will work with validation and our customers during critical issue escalations and help get issues resolved in time to meet product development or sustaining milestones. Opportunity to learn simulation, emulation and validation during pre-silicon and post-silicon phase to deliver the hardware and software technologies of next generation computing platforms, accelerating AMD to have the highest-performing compute system in the world.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

SPSE seeks an Electrical Engineering or Computer Science graduate student to work closely with existing team. Your day-to-day activity may includes responsibility in designing, simulating, emulating, validating per spec and finding ways to break and uncover failures in the systems. The work has the potential to directly impact the quality of product we are delivering to our customer as well as influence the direction of future hardware. Depending on job role, you may work on activities below:
