Your Team:
Join our Cyber Underwriting team at Allianz, where we assess First Party and Third Party Cyber Exposures, focusing on financial, legal compliance, and ESG risks for large corporate clients. We leverage internal and external data to quantify risks and develop tailored solutions through our "Allianz Cyber Protect Premium" product. Collaborating with our Risk Consulting team, we conduct Risk Dialogs to address the evolving Threat Landscape. Engage with international brokers and corporate clients in a dynamic, innovative environment that fosters professional growth and impactful work.
Your responsibilities:
- You will work within the CUO Cyber team, gaining unique insights and exposure to Allianz's global Cyber portfolio, while learning from the best in the industry.
- You will collaborate closely with underwriting and technical teams, gaining the latest insights on market developments and supporting the design and delivery of Cyber strategies.
- You will support the global trading efforts, understanding how Allianz Commercial navigates the Cyber insurance market and expands its global reach.
- You will conduct market and portfolio analysis, helping to identify trends and inform business strategies for Cyber insurance.
- You will contribute to innovation efforts, assisting with projects and initiatives aimed at improving the Cyber line of business.
- You will engage with global teams, participating in activities with regional teams around the world, learning from diverse perspectives and contributing to Allianz’s global Cyber initiatives.
What You’ll Bring to the Role
- Completion of a bachelors or masters degree by September 2026 in a relevant field of Study.
- Able to adapt and work effectively in different situations and remain calm under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong interest in Insurance
- Have a pro-active and positive attitude to team work, able to assist others and also take on your own responsibilities
- A curious and creative mindset, willingness to learn and enthusiasm to own and drive your personal development
- Ability to effectively absorb information from various sources, then analyse, study or examine data in detail, draw appropriate conclusions and present solutions to others.
- Know how to utilize AI tools to support day-to-day tasks, improve efficiency and contribute to data-driven decision making
- Good computer skills, including MS/Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
