Events & Engagements Specialists (EESs) are responsible for implementing event plans and managing operational activities related to services provided by Scientific External Experts (SEE) and Health Care Organizations (HCO) during events under the Global Meetings & Events team (GM&E) scope. The role requires risk assessment capabilities, strategic decision-making, and effective communication as a company ambassador for the Play to Win strategy.
About you
Experience
Event Management:
- Partner with brand teams, creative agencies, HCOs, and vendors to deliver end-to-end event experiences
- Provide input on site selection, service contractors, and budget planning
- Ensure compliance with company policies, particularly transparency requirements
- Manage remote, hybrid, and virtual meetings through local vendors
- Coordinate accommodations, transportation, and program logistics
- Identify risks early and develop mitigation plans
- Manage budgets and conduct post-meeting financial reconciliation
- Serve as subject-matter expert for technology solutions (Veeva Vault CRM, SpotMe, CVent)
Engagement Management:
- Oversee SEE/HCO/patient engagement for event-related services
- Create and support Service Agreements using One Sanofi tools
- Manage financial approvals and post-event invoice payments
- Monitor and report on SEE/HCO engagements
- Share best practices and develop strong stakeholder relationships
- Provide metrics on event management success and compliance
Requirements
- Post graduate degree
- Fluent in written and spoken English & German
- 3-5 years professional experience in event planning/contracting, preferably in regulated markets
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Experience with Veeva Vault CRM Events Management platform
- Meeting planning and project management experience is advantageous
