What you’ll do (Job Responsibilities)
- Collaborate with design engineers, compliance engineers, product safety engineers, and technicians regarding hardware and software design.
- Audit and improve Installation, Commissioning, and Operation & Maintenance procedures for BESS products.
- Review and analyze commissioning data to identify patterns, trends, or areas of concern.
- Ensure that procedures align with industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and company standards.
- Assist with data collection, testing, and verification activities of new products and sub-systems.
- Document findings, observations, and any issues encountered.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.

What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)
- Pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Must maintain a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA (without rounding).
- Must have the ability to work in the US for an unlimited amount of time without sponsorship
What will make you stand out (Desired Qualifications)
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, power electronics, and battery technology.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- A passion for renewable energy and energy storage.
- Experience with battery management systems (BMS) and energy storage control systems (ESCS).
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g., IEC, UL).
- Programming skills (e.g., Python, MATLAB).
- Previous internship experience in a related field.

The pay for this position ranges from $21.00/hr - $36.00/hr based on years of undergraduate/graduate field of study completed
This position is also eligible for:
- Relocation Assistance: Co-op/Interns will be reimbursed for reasonable, proper, and documented expenditures incurred while initially reporting to work and returning to school/home upon completion of the assignment. Employees with a permanent address greater than 50 miles away from the work location are eligible.
- Housing Allowance: Co-op/Interns employees receive a weekly housing allowance to help off-set living expenses when the co-op/Intern’s permanent residence is at least 50 miles away from the work location.
