What you’ll do
- Assist with the day-to-day operations of the commercial teams for the Aeroderivative New Unit gas turbine proposals development process. Â Strong planning skills, influencing skills, and ability to induce cross functional teamwork are essential.
- Support the creation and maintenance of commercial dashboards, sales forecasts, and performance metrics to track customer opportunities, project status, and revenue targets (using SFCS (Sales Force.com)
- Collaborate with cross functional teams (e.g. engineering, sales, product champions, finance, supply chain, project management) to streamline bid/tender process, quoting procedures, and contract reviews.
- Participate in commercial and sales meetings (Risk Reviews) and take notes or follow-up actions when needed.
- Help identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies in commercial processes; support initiatives to improve throughput and accuracy using Lean tools and principles (e.g., value stream mapping, 5S, root cause analysis and Kaizen events).
- Participate in and support the implementation of Lean commercial process improvements, including standard work development, process mapping, continuous improvement reviews, eliminate rework in the OTR chain by analyzing risk mitigation and opportunities recovery.
- Support internal audits and documentation related to QMS compliance.
- Support the onboarding and training of new commercial tools and process improvements.

The pay for this position ranges from $21.00/hr - $36.00/hr based on years of undergraduate/graduate field of study completed

- Relocation Assistance: Co-op/Interns will be reimbursed for reasonable, proper, and documented expenditures incurred while initially reporting to work and returning to school/home upon completion of the assignment.
