About the Team
Marketplace User Web Frontend team is responsible for the frontend development for Shopee’s ecommerce web platforms. We mainly focus on user-related features for both customers and internal operators. We design stable and scalable architecture to support Shopee’s fast business growth. Shopee serves millions of users, and we seek to push the limit of web technologies. We continuously innovate to build internal state-of-the-art engineering solutions.
Job Description
- Take ownership of various business features at Shopee
- Give constructive feedback on product requirements, deliver tasks on time, provide positive user experiences
- Contribute to the technical excellence of the team
- Write clean and maintainable code, conduct thorough and candid code reviews
- Participate in various internal technical projects and give technical sharing sessions
- Make development plans, coordinate across different projects and tasks
- Optimize development workflow, improve development efficiency and quality
Requirements
- Bachelor's or higher degree in computer science or related fields
- Have around 1–2 years of experience in frontend web development, but not limited to this field
- Good understanding of computer science fundamentals, including but not limited to algorithm, data structure, network.
- Good understanding of web frontend fundamentals, including but not limited to JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Browsers
- Good understanding of user experience
