You will have the opportunity to join a growing and cross-functional product development team of residential Heat Pumps in Aveiro. Your contribution as Simulation and Test Engineer will support Bosch Group delivering new solutions, with class-leading performance that will help reduce our CO2 footprint. Β Β

Your contribution to something big:
- Specify software features / Heat Pumps functions;
- Simulation with Matlab Simulink, including:
- Run Test/Simulation(s);
- Analyze results and debug failures;
- Document Software bugs;
- Update and create new test procedures;
- Update and create Heat Pump models according to product specification;
- Tune control parameters.
- Lab Testing, including:
- Setup Heat Pump at Lab - Wiring connections & Hydraulic connections;
- Analyze results and debug failures;
- Document Software bugs;
- Issue technical documentation;
- Define Setup and perform tests for simulation correlation.

Your profile
What distinguishes you:
- Education: MsC β Mechanical or Physics Engineering;
- Technical skills:
- Knowledge in thermodynamics and refrigeration;
- Experience in Matlab Simulink;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English;
- Familiar with Central Heating systems is a plus.
- Personal Skills:
- Able to take responsibility for own work and apply own initiative to finding solutions in a structured way;
- Results oriented and pro-active attitude;
- Problem solving mindset;
- Ability to work in a team environment;
- Good communication skills, precise and structured. Able to explain complex circumstances in a clear manner;
- Enthusiastic about rolling up your sleeves on a laboratory environment.
