What is the Position?
Evercore seeks to hire an Administrative Assistant for its Private Capital Advisory (PCA) group in New York. The Administrative Assistant will provide direct support to several mid-level bankers within the team. The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver, highly organized, and an excellent communicator who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This individual should be proactive, punctual, and ready to hit the ground running while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.

Primary Responsibilities:
This role provides the opportunity to support a high-performing investment banking team while gaining exposure to the private markets secondary advisory business. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Provide daily administrative support including phone coverage and calendar management
- Handle various internal and external scheduling, which involves corresponding with all levels of internal and external management
- Heavy expense reimbursement processing
- Coordinate travel management including airfare, hotel, and ground transportation
- Provide back-up assistance and coverage to executive assistants as needed
- Assist executive assistants with various projects, including event planning and execution, as needed
- Support special projects and adapt responsibilities as the role evolves
- This role may grow to cover more senior team members

Specific Qualifications:
- 2-5+ years of administrative or related professional experience
- Punctual, organized, and extremely detail-oriented
- Excellent analytical, time-management, and organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
- Ability to work under deadlines and adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel (Salesforce or other CRM systems experience a plus)
- Professional phone demeanor with exceptional written and verbal communication skills and the ability to develop strong working rapport with team members and clients
- Desire and ability to work in a team-oriented environment; must possess a team-focused, โno task too smallโ attitude
- Flexible for early mornings and overtime as needed
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion

Work Environment:
This role is based in New York with standard hours of 8:30am - 5:30pm or 9:00am - 6:00pm, with paid overtime as needed. PCA values collaboration, professionalism, and adaptability. The team is positive and highly engaged, offering room for growth and opportunities to contribute beyond traditional administrative duties.
