You develop software components for our next-generation acceleration and inertial sensors used in Airbag control units.
You work across the full V-model - from requirements engineering and architecture to coding, SIL/HIL testing, and component release.
You contribute technical expertise to platform, customer projects and provide solutions for integrating your components into their systems such as advanced concepts of SW Architecture and SW Configuration.
You collaborate in an international agile team with colleagues in Germany, India and other locations worldwide, using state-of-the-art tools and development methods.
Your work supports compliance with key industry standards such as functional safety (ISO 26262) and cybersecurity (ISO 21434).

What distinguishes you:

Education
Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a comparable field.
β
Experience
Experience in embedded automotive software development, ideally in safety-critical or hardware-dependent environments.
Familiarity with microcontroller drivers, communication buses (e.g., SPI), sensor drivers, or real-time embedded functions.

Know-how
Strong skills in C programming and/or C++.
Knowledge of model-based development (e.g., UML).
Preferably experience with tools such as IBM Doors NextGen, Rational Team Concert, Rhapsody, or similar.

Languages
Very good English communication skills;
German is an advantage.
