With increasing regulatory and consumer demand for enhanced automotive safety, manufacturers are turning to advanced sensor technologies like visual imaging, radar, and lidar to improve Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). Historically, may of these sensors have been cost-prohibitive for integration into most mass-production vehicles. Corning has revolutionized this space with the development of proprietary processes significantly reducing manufacturing costs and opening the door to widespread adoption in the automotive industry.
As Corning transitions this innovative process from development to pilot production, we are seeking a motivated and talented engineering student to join our team and contribute to this exciting journey. Embedded within a team of experienced engineers and technicians, you will play an integral role in pilot manufacturing scale up, while gaining hands-on experience at the cutting edge of ADAS technology. This is a unique opportunity to work on a transformative process and help shape the future of automotive safety systems.
