Responsibilities - your mission
- Airbus is introducing a new role to strengthen the link between Airbus Finance Data Governance and Security departments. The jobholder will be part of the Finance Transformation team in the department in charge of Process, Risk & Compliance and Data Governance
- As a member of the Data Governance team, you will advise projects on the best way to exploit finance data to generate enterprise value, in full compliance with our security and compliance standards
- As a support to the security business partner, your activities will require you to negotiate with several stakeholders to ensure security and stability in financial operations. The jobholder will be in contact with the following stakeholders: Security, IM, Data Governance and Business (Accounting, Transactional Accounting, Treasury, Controlling, Operations, Engineering…) employees
Tasks & responsibilities:
- Managing a comprehensive Finance security plan in accordance with the corporate security strategy
- Partnering with technical and business leads within Finance to assess Finance security maturity level, security needs, analyze cybersecurity risk, and prioritize remediation on an annual basis
- Collaborating with security in maintaining an annual cybersecurity roadmap
- Acting as point of contact for the Finance process owners to support the implementation of security requirements into processes
- Producing necessary metrics to demonstrate the overall security of the business unit
- Actively participating in the information security incident response process
- Working with cross-organizational stakeholders to determine the understandability and relevance of published security policies and their impact on the business
- Supporting projects on security matters, collaborating with IT, security architects and legal
- Escalating and documenting business initiatives with security implications, and/or specific security challenges
- Participating in security audits
- Act as the PMO supporting the E2E Security Process applied to the deployment of financial system
- Driving the Finance Data Office process to advise projects requiring access to financial data on how to be compliant with Finance compliance standards
- Advising projects, in collaboration with Financial Systems experts, on the target data model to achieve desired needs
- Act as the expert and focal point for Data Quality related topics, supporting data product delivery and requirement collection
- Processing validations of data requests, interfacing with the Data Officer and Data Custodian (business owner of the data)
- Collaborating in the update of the data model of the Finance department, in strong collaboration with IT stakeholders
- Organizing yearly security benchmarks with industry peers
- Inspiring the corporate Data Governance network by sharing latest data governance trends and best practices
- Proposing improvements to data governance processes and methods
- Promoting security awareness and trainings
Requirements - our ideal candidate will have
- 3 -5 years of applicable experience
- Professional/Bachelor’s Degree
- Ability to interpret and apply policies and regulations across a large, complex business
- Analytical aptitude, critical thinking, and data-driven decision-making skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with leaders at multiple levels and facilitate team interactions
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), ability to influence
- Ability to balance risks in ambiguous and complex situations
- Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills, in particular in leading or contributing to global and multi-functional teams
- Highly motivated to contribute and grow within a complex area of emerging importance
- Expert level understanding of data security tools, processes, and procedures
- Competent in the interpretation of numeric data and understanding of statistical principles
- Good fundamental knowledge of industry-standard frameworks
- Strong analytical/problem-solving skills and cross-functional expertise across multiple IT operational and security disciplines
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical staff
- Must possess a high degree of integrity, be trustworthy, and have the ability to lead and inspire change
Would be considered a plus:
- Experience in Finance with a high level understanding of the processes and a more in-depth expertise in one (Close to report, Transactional accounting in an industrial environment, Treasury, Reporting, Planning…)
- One or more programming/scripting languages (e.g., C++, Perl, Java, Python, etc.)
- In-depth knowledge in the use of databases for reporting
- Working knowledge with tools in relations with data governance and IT security management
- GCIH, GCIA, or CISSP
