Our Business
The Wealth Management Credit Platform Service Support Team reports into Private Banking (PB) Credit Platform Services. The Team is responsible for ensuring that credit facility information is entered accurately from source documentation before circulating the proposal for approval.
Position Description:
The analyst performing this role are required to have a complete understanding and knowledge of complex custom credit requests regarding regulatory and credit policy guidelines. This includes detailed analysis of credit approval documentation to understand and interpret all product terms and conditions, supports, credit exception codes, facility flags, and regulatory reporting and purpose codes into the firmwide credit risk platform. As well as knowledge to perform portfolio maintenance activities including credit responsibility units, credit coverage, and credit hierarchy system updates. The individual performing this function must work autonomously and be well versed to understand all upstream requirements and downstream impacts, while performing at high quality standards to support our lending, credit risk, finance, and control organizations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Partner with Underwriters and Lending Specialists to capture terms and conditions stipulated in the credit approval and legal documentation into the corporate credit platform.
- Coordinates the global approval for cross Line Of Business requests to include exposure to customers that are managed by units outside of the family responsibility area.
- Coordinate all administrative aspects of portfolio management on a day to day basis including, but not limited to, identifying unlinked outstanding, over limits, temporary facility extension or increases.
- Creation of and maintaining client information records in internal systems
- Knowledge of the following:
- All WM credit products offered inclusive of letters of credit
- Credit Risk policies and guidelines
- All aspects of Credit Risk platform (iCRD)
- Regulatory Reporting and Purpose Codes
- Review to understand all aspects of the loan terms and conditions outlined in the underwriter’s credit approval documentation
- Aligned to the underwriting procedures & policy guidelines, the team performs credit & client due diligence
- Reviews regulatory requirements and acts as a control to ensure that the platform and UW tools or documentation are accurately aligned
- Control to verify accuracy of Loan Pricing Tools provided entered in Credit Risk platform for downstream flow to finance
- Perform portfolio management activities regarding reporting, data management, and maintenance
- Credit Responsibility Unit maintenance
- Credit Coverage maintenance
- Hierarchy maintenance
- NAICs review
- SCRA & CCAR reporting
- Understand the entire Custom Credit process end to end and the upstream and downstream impactions of each function
- Operates as a control function that all items upstream are in good order prior to routine for system approval or proposal completion
- Manage market and credit coverage updates, and LOB transfers as clients and facilities are moved to new markets or to other LOBs outside of PB
- Must operate in a very fast paced environment with continually changing priorities, while maintain a pipeline of volume in different stages
- Maintain high quality standards as a result of the critical nature to the iCRD system capturing all of critical date accurately
Required Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities:

- Self-starter with the ability to not only recognize tasks to complete but also how best to effectively and efficiently complete them
- The ability to recognize work in the pipeline and willing to work to completion
- Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience
- Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, SharePoint
It’s preferred Candidates have the following experience:
- General understanding of credit concepts
- General understanding of FX and participations/syndications
- Experience using the Credit Risk Infrastructure tools and applications (ICRD, Party Central, Work hub)
