This internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in the Orlando, FL area from January 2026 - August 2026.
What You Will Do
This role is part of the Income Tax group within Tax Operations. Key responsibilities of the role could include:
- Assist with gathering and analyzing data, performing computations, and preparing work papers for tax returns, provisions, forecasts and projects
- Assisting with the preparation of federal, state and/or Canadian corporate income tax estimates, extensions and returns for a diverse group of businesses conducting multi-national operations
- Collaborating with tax, business and accounting partners to obtain data necessary for tax calculations and reporting
- Identifying tax process enhancements and automation opportunities
- Acting as an embedded team member within Disney’s Corporate Tax Center of Excellence (COE)
- Drafting user manuals for the department to outline Standard Operating Guidelines
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Takes initiative and has a process improvement mind set (Tech Savvy)
- Proficient in MS Office Suite with intermediate Excel experience (pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s)
- Possess strong time management skills – Able to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines
- Adaptable to change, easily pivots
- Enjoys working in a highly collaborative teamwork environment
- Possess an analytical mindset
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Working towards your CPA
- Exposure to advanced Excel skills (XLOOKUP’s, SQL)
- Exposure to Alteryx and/or Power BI
Education
- Junior or Senior preferred
- Major or previous coursework in Accounting, Finance, Tax, Data Analytics or other related field
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information
Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:
- Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Possess unrestricted work authorization
- Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program
Additional Information
- Candidate must be fully available to work full time hours (approximately 40 hours per week) for the duration of the internship.
- This internship is an on-site position, but also requires a working, reliable internet connection as well as a quiet, dedicated workspace for the days you may work from home.
