What you will do
As a Business Analyst Intern on the GCC Data & Analytics team, you will contribute to impactful projects that enhance business decision-making. Your responsibilities include creating and maintaining Tableau dashboards, bridging communication between business stakeholders and technical teams, and supporting the implementation of IT solutions. Youβll collaborate across functions, manage technical projects, and gain exposure to innovative technologies in a fast-paced, resource-rich environment. This role offers hands-on experience with data analysis, business processes, and IT operations from a sales perspective.

Key Responsibilities
- Liaison Role: Serve as the primary liaison between the business and IT for technical and sales projects, collaborating with business partners to identify current and future needs.
- Information Gathering Facilitation: Facilitate or co-facilitate sessions with business and technology partners to gather requirements and assist in cost-benefit analyses.
- Project Leadership: Lead and guide project team members to achieve project objectives by effectively managing scope, schedule, and budget.
- Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve project issues, developing efficient strategies to meet objectives while considering unique business conditions and constraints.
- Project Planning & Reporting: Prepare and communicate comprehensive project plans and reports, monitoring for deviations in scope, schedule, and cost, and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Data Visualization: Assist in the development and maintenance of Tableau dashboards for the GCC DnA and PLM teams.
- Quality Assurance: Assist in the testing and quality assurance of dashboards and data processes to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Work Environment Support: Foster a collaborative work environment that emphasizes excellence in customer service, quality, innovation, and teamwork.

Required Qualifications
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada
- Currently enrolled in a Master's degree program
- Eligible to complete an 8-month internship term in Markham, Ontario, this is a part-time assignment
- Expert in action planning, teamwork, and delivering customer-focused results while managing costs and timelines effectively
- Experienced with MSFT Power products (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI), as well as Tableau, Power BI, JIRA, SQL, Java, Python, and Robotic Process Automation
- Quick learner with a strong attention to detail and understanding of relational database concepts

- Strong verbal and written abilities for stakeholder engagement and collaboration
- Highly organized, capable of prioritizing tasks and meeting conflicting deadlines
- Hands-on experience with Python, React, and SQL, along with exposure to product management methodologies
- Skilled in building partnerships, responsive to needs, and comfortable with ambiguity
