Apollo Capital Solutions (“ACS”) anchors the Firm’s capital markets, syndication, and dedicated origination efforts. As one centralized team, ACS partners with each of Apollo’s investment businesses to provide capital markets expertise, structuring, execution, and ultimately drive syndication efforts on investments across the Credit, Hybrid, and Equity spectrum. The Bank Programs & Partnerships team within ACS plays a critical role in the firm’s strategy to expand its partnerships with banks and capital markets participants. These programs are designed to unlock scalable, recurring fee revenue and originations across the platform.
The Associate will support our Programs lead to manage and execute bank program initiatives across Europe. This role provides a unique opportunity to sit at the intersection of strategic partnerships, product innovation, and capital markets execution, helping to advance Apollo’s growth and connectivity with leading financial institutions.
The ideal candidate is analytical, commercially minded, and entrepreneurial, with strong attention to detail and an ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support the execution of strategic partnerships with banks and capital markets participants, including risk transfer, fee generation, and origination initiatives
- Assist in evaluating deal flow, preparing underwriting memos, and advancing deals through Apollo’s investment process for program-related opportunities
- Help manage the day-to-day execution of ongoing programs, including both relationship and execution coverage of external partners and active coordination with internal constituents
- Track and monitor revenue and origination performance against program targets
- Prepare presentation materials, marketing pitches, case studies, and business plans for internal senior management, committees, and external partner institutions
Qualifications & Experience
- 3+ years of experience in investment banking, capital markets, corporate strategy, or consulting
- Prior experience working with banking or capital markets counterparties preferred
- Undergraduate degree from a leading academic institution with a record of academic achievement
- Familiarity with structured finance, credit, or partnership-based business models
- Strong financial modelling, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Exceptional project management and organizational abilities, with a track record of managing multiple workstreams and stakeholders
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, including experience drafting materials for senior management and external partners
- Collaborative, resourceful, and self-motivated, with a commercial mindset and ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-performance environment
