Every organisation, industry, and economy around the world is facing more disruption than ever before. As companies increasingly expand beyond traditional boundaries, competition for skilled talent is intensifying across all sectors. In this fast-changing landscape, having the right people in the right roles is critical to driving business growth and managing volatility.
At Aon, our Talent Solutions practice helps organisations make smarter people decisions by combining data-driven insights, cutting-edge analytics, and expert advisory services. We partner with clients to align their workforce strategies with business goals—whether that’s attracting top talent, designing competitive reward programmes, or building resilient teams ready for future challenges.
Join Aon as a Reward Advisory graduate and discover how we work collaboratively with our clients to understand the people, jobs and rewards their businesses needs to succeed. We are partners and trusted advisors to all types of companies, from the largest global organisations and FTSE 100 household names to smaller emerging companies.
We have opportunities available in two different teams within the Reward Advisory Graduate Programme (Executive Compensation and Data Solutions).
Please review the information below on each team and select your first-choice preferred team should you be successful. Please note that where possible, we will try to consider you for your first-choice preference, however we cannot guarantee your first choice due to availability of roles. If your first choice is unavailable at the time of your Assessment Centre, we will also consider you for the other teams.
Executive Compensation is a specialist area within HR and rewards that focuses on how senior leaders are paid and incentivised. It involves designing competitive pay structures—including base salary, bonuses, long-term incentives, and benefits—that align with company strategy, performance, and governance standards. Working in Exec Comp means influencing how leadership drives business success, balancing market trends, shareholder expectations, and regulatory requirements.
The Data Solutions team works closely with clients to help them make informed strategic decisions by using the insights from our pay benchmarking data. We support clients as they interpret and apply this information to shape their compensation strategies. Alongside this, we seek out opportunities for consulting and advisory projects, particularly within the fast-paced Technology sector. By analysing data and keeping up with industry trends, we help clients tackle challenges and refine their reward approaches. For graduates, joining our team means developing valuable skills, gaining hands-on experience, and contributing to projects that have a real impact on our clients.
As an Aon Graduate, you will be enrolled onto our Launch Programme when you join. This development programme is built around the following core elements:
Whichever business area you work in, you’ll be working with a diverse range of companies from across the UK and Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Your learning and development will be fast-paced and hands-on, giving you crucial technical knowledge and client management skills, as well as the opportunity to develop client relationships early on in your career. We encourage our graduates to take ownership for managing their own careers and building their client base. The ever-evolving business landscape requires companies to think differently and change the way they operate. As a result, our consultants have varied and exciting roles.
Once you’ve completed the formal graduate programme, you’ll continue to receive lots of support at Aon. As well as continued technical and business skills training, you’ll receive regular performance feedback, and work with your line manager towards promotions.
If you are interested in this graduate programme and would like to apply, here is some useful information:
Our graduates are on permanent contracts from day one, we welcome applications from candidates who have their own right to work within the UK where you can maintain and demonstrate your right to work throughout the duration of your employment. This may include pre-settled or settled status from the EU Settlement Scheme – or if you have applied and you are waiting for a decision.
We have graduate opportunities this year in the following locations: London
We recognise the value for our Early Career colleagues of being in the office environment from the beginning of their programme. As a new graduate, you will spend the first 6 months based in the office to support your learning, development, and progression. This will enable you access to support from managers, collaborate with colleagues as well as grow your network across Aon. After completing this initial training period, you will then have the opportunity to work more flexibly, spending at least 3 to 4 days face to face in the Aon office or with clients.
We know applying for your first graduate role can be exciting, and sometimes a little daunting. At Aon, we’re committed to making our recruitment process as transparent and supportive as possible. Here’s how our selection journey works, and what you can expect at each stage:
