We're looking for a 3D Visual Designer to join the Spectacles design team!
What you’ll do:
- Work on an exciting portfolio of projects ranging from emerging 3D and AR technology to iconography systems across our applications
- Architect ambitious and often ambiguous design projects that will set precedent for the rest of the industry
- Collaborate with prototypers, product designers, engineers, and artists to solve complex problems, translate strategic goals into relevant solutions, and build world class experiences
- Help lead visual strategy and define principles and systems that help connect innovative product design with our engaging and playful brand
- Design innovative interfaces and AR experiences that push boundaries
- Evolve the look and feel of the Spectacles interface
- Make 2D and 3D assets from various concepts into assets for operating system, interactive experience and other aspects of the Spectacles interface
- Seek out and utilize emerging technologies to scale the impact of the Spectacles design team

- Experience working on multiple types of visual mediums
- Proactive, self-motivated, and willing to explore new territory and challenges
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
Minimum qualifications:
- BS/BA degree or equivalent years of experience
- 3+ years of design experience
Preferred qualifications:
- Proficiency with 3D Modeling software (Blender, Maya etc)
- A strong portfolio showcasing your design work
- Proficiency in Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or other design tools
- Experience in concept art (2D or 3D), storyboarding
- Experience developing, documenting and implementing a visual language
- Experience with Unity, Lens Studio or UE
- Experience building design systems
