We're looking for ambitious students to join our Summer Internship Program within our Debt Capital Markets team based in our Global Banking business.

You’ll:

‍

• learn all about debt capital markets but also get broader exposure to UBS’ business to build an expanded knowledge of the investment banking industry
• get to know the global markets from the capital raising stage from origination through to the execution of transactions with exposure to all stages of the transaction life cycle
• compare knowledge of global markets (USD, EUR, AUD, CHF) and provide best advice to clients in how and when to fund in various currencies
• be involved in and contribute to providing advice and execution directly to clients – focusing on the impact of ever-changing markets, evolving regulations, rating agency frameworks and market drivers on our client’s needs
• prepare industry analyses for pitches

Your team

You’ll be working in our Investment Bank’s Global Banking (GB) business, focusing on Debt Capital Markets (DCM)
You’ll work closely with the GB country and sector coverage teams, as well as Global Markets Fixed Income teams
Within a dynamic and market driven team environment our focus is on providing clients with best in class advice and financing solutions across the capital structure.

Your expertise

We’re looking for a candidate who:

• is in their penultimate or final year of your studies
• is on track for a 2.1 (UK grading system) or equivalent in their first undergraduate / bachelor degree
• has values that align with ours: hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated and collaborative
• is a strategic thinker with strong communication skills
• is motivated to work in a business with high demands and tight deadlines
