Your role

Do you have a strong interest in Real Estate investment? Does real estate management excite you? We’re looking for someone like that who can:
• support the Business Operation team in all their tasks related to the direct real estate portfolio (risk reporting, KYC checks, operational projects including new IT database implementation, Investment Managers support, etc.) across Europe, North America and APAC and on various asset classes (office, retail, logistics…)
• move comfortably among different cultures
• provide analytical and proactive support for various specific projects and ad hoc analysis
• enhance business processes and perform strategic project work

You’ll get to:


• build an understanding of our industry, culture, and strategy
• coordinate among different team within Global Real Asset department: Finance, Portfolio and Investment Management, ESG Team
• learn about all major real estate processes and interact with external service providers in different countries

Your team

You’ll be working in the Global Real Asset – Business Operations & ESG team in Zürich. We structure and manage direct real estate products and assets for UHNW clients. We manage today approximately 150 real estate assets throughout continental Europe, UK, but as well North America and APAC. The core of our team is in Zürich and London; with daily contact with our local asset management UBS Real Estate teams based in various European capitals (asset management, transaction, compliance).

Your expertise

We’re looking for a candidate who:
• has completed at least 4 semesters of a bachelor's degree, and graduated no longer than six months ago (bachelor's or master's degree)
• possesses good analytical and financial background and willing to develop its real estate and market knowledge
• proactive, interested in real estate and willing to support in day-to-day operational tasks
• has values that align with ours: hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated and collaborative
• fluency in English, any other European languages may be an advantage
• a good command of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Your program

This paid internship will last 6 months, where you’ll work with our experts and learn about the industry, our clients and our firm. You’ll be right at the heart of our business, learning from your colleagues, taking part in day-to-day operations. You'll be given mentors along the way and will have the chance to get to know some of the most senior members of our teams.
You’ll have plenty of opportunities to develop new skills and make contacts along the way. If you like challenges, enjoy learning and want to work where no two days are the same, this program is for you.
If you have a successful internship, you may get an offer to return for our Graduate Talent Program after you've completed your studies.
