Weโll trust you to:
- Work as part of small client teams to provide a wide range of services, including general financial advice, mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, special committee assignments, takeover defenses, corporate restructuring, strategic partnerships/joint ventures, and advice on capital structure.
- Work across different M&A industry groups or Restructuring with one major and one minor concentration. Our M&A industry groups include: Consumer & Retail, Financial Institutions (FIG), Healthcare, Industrials, Media, Entertainment & Sports (MES) Power, Energy, Infrastructure (PEI), Real Estate, Technology, and Telecom & Digital Infrastructure (TDI). Placement is based your background and preferences as well as Lazardโs business needs.
- Enjoy a uniquely tailored experience which includes accountability to a specific group as well as opportunities for building relationships and skills across other groups at the Firm.
- Conduct financial analysis and modeling, create, and prepare client presentations, and interact directly with clients, among other things.

Youโll need to have:
- 2-3 years of prior work experience
- Currently matriculated at a MBA or JD program and within two years of graduation
- Top academic performance
- Motivation, creativity, maturity, and poise
- Strong quantitative background
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task
