With $158 billion of assets under management, Blackstone’s corporate private equity business has been a global leader since 1985. We uncover value by identifying great companies and enhancing their performance by providing strategic capital and outstanding management talent. We aim to grow stronger enterprises, create jobs, and enable our portfolio companies to build lasting value for our investors, their employees and all stakeholders.
At Blackstone, we look to attract and retain the brightest minds in the business, hiring professionals and students across a wide range of disciplines. Our employees’ passion for their work and commitment to their clients have helped Blackstone become one of the most respected financial institutions and a trusted partner.
Blackstone’s Private Equity group offers Off Cycle Interns the chance to engage in the direct acquisition of large and midsized companies in a variety of sectors worldwide. The investment process develops both the financial skills of investment banking and the strategic thinking of management consulting. As a result, this internship program offers a unique experience among financial firms, enabling our interns to develop a well-rounded and fine-tuned business mind. Off Cycles at Blackstone have the opportunity to participate in all aspects of projects and be staffed on a number of assignments at once. Due to the relatively small size of the professional staff, Off Cycles can assume integral roles on deal teams. Off cycles are involved with the development, structuring and financing of transactions and regularly attend internal meetings, negotiations and due diligence sessions.
Our people are our most valuable asset. They are highly skilled problem solvers who believe challenges represent opportunities. Together with the firm’s entrepreneurial spirit, their unique passions and backgrounds contribute to a diverse, creative and vibrant environment.
