The Legal & Compliance group in EMEA is involved in providing advice to the various business units, which include reviewing marketing and communications, maintaining a robust anti-money laundering program and providing regulatory guidance to the investment teams; as well as providing oversight to Blackstoneβs European funds.

Programme Description
Blackstone's Summer Analyst Program is a 10-week in-person experience, offering participants extensive exposure across the firm. This program provides Summer Analysts with valuable guidance through mentorship, continuous feedback, technical and soft skill training, networking opportunities with professionals across the firm and the unique chance to fully immerse themselves in Blackstone's culture.

Job Description
Blackstoneβs Compliance Group expects Summer Analysts to be engaged in all aspects of the groupβs work.

Summer Analyst work may include:
- Reviewing marketing materials and communications being sent to investors. Assisting with legal and compliance matters that arise in connection with investor suitability, domestic and global marketing registration
- Reviewing fund documentation and coordinating with counsels and service providers in the onboarding of new funds or products as well as investors
- Conducting Know Your Customer checks, reviewing investment deals, overseeing investor onboarding processes
- Maintaining and updating policies and procedures, including drafting new processes to streamline compliance initiatives
- Conducting key compliance tasks such as reviewing gifts & entertainment requests, personal account dealing requests and background check reports
- Preparing materials and metrics for committees and senior management, conducting company secretarial activities
- Assisting in training initiatives
- Assisting with the implementation of various compliance oversight programmes
- Supporting day-to-day core compliance oversight and advisory such as monitoring conflicts of interest, running email surveillance, reviewing trade documentation, assessing risk associated with non-public information and trading
- Conducting regulatory horizon scanning to assess the impact to the Blackstone businesses

Qualifications

- Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or masters student
- Anticipated graduation date: Summer 2027
