Job description Β

‍

Please note that this is a 6 month full time internship role from January 2026 - June/July 2026

‍

‍

Who we are

We’ve been helping clients plan and invest for their futures for over 50 years. From more than 25 locations around the world, we provide investment services and retirement expertise to everyone from central banks to private individuals.

We’re known for acting with integrity and thinking for the long-term. And across our organisation, we foster a welcoming, caring and inclusive culture where people feel respected, trusted and able to be themselves.

‍

‍

About your team

The German Wholesale Fund Seller business is responsible for covering the advisory business of banks, IFAs and insurance firms and belongs to the largest asset managers in this segment.

‍

‍

About your role

You will be responsible for supporting wholesale/retail clients’ requests and services offered to our German professional clients as well as participating in client-related projects. The role includes preparing, executing and following up on client queries, sales meetings and client events. The Sales Intern will also have a focus on ESG and retirement related topics and will work together with other project and marketing teams to coordinate our developments in these areas.

‍

‍

Sales Pitches and Client Presentations:

Be a part of the front-office team and support colleagues in creating client pitches, preparing fund presentations and data as well as conducting independent research by liaising with international teams across Fidelity.

‍

Investment Analyses:

Take initiative in analysing various internal investment strategies across a variety of asset classes. You will get the chance to work with industry relevant tools such as Morningstar to further benchmark internal strategies with competitor funds.

‍

Data Analysis:

Work in a data-driven world and help us to navigate it: Ranging from fund to client data, you will be entrusted to maintain, optimize and analyse the underlying information to optimize efficiencies and digitize processes

‍

Marketing:

Function as a link between the marketing department and support in organising offline, as well as online events, such as web seminars, mailing campaigns or roadshows for investment professionals.

‍

‍

About you

‍

It’s who you are that matters here, rather than what you studied. We look for full term interns (start date January 2026) who have a genuine interest in the financial services sector and the asset management industry, a commercial acumen and string analytical and organisational skills, who are curious, compassionate, service-oriented, eager to learn and ready to get stuck in. Creative thinking and attention to detail are important too. And, as we’re an international organisation, we’ll need you to speak German and English.

Palpable Score

78.9
/ 100
Fidelity Investments is easy to enter as a graduate because the company runs multiple named early-career tracks alongside large paid internship hiring. Fidelity Investments also publishes unusually specific candidate guidance for a company of this size, including a staged hiring process and hybrid expectations. The main limits are uneven reports about how structured team-level training feels after placement, and a lack of published outcomes data like intern-to-offer rates or early-career retention.
