EDUCATIONAL RECOMMENDATIONS

Currently a candidate for a Master's, bachelor's degree, or Diploma in Software Engineering or Computer Science, or a related field with an accredited school in Canada.

Your responsibilities

As part of our team, you will:

‍

Support the Nokia Developer Portal ( https://network.developer.nokia.com)
Develop features using Python/Django
Code, test, and debug new and existing features of the developer portal
Take ownership of writing effective, scalable code
Work closely with other developers and participate in portal-related discussions
Work in a fast-paced environment with an excellent team of engineers

Your skills and experience

‍

Strong programming skills in Python (Experience with Django Framework preferred)
Some Experience with web development (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript)
Strong grasp of object-oriented software design concepts.
Familiarity with Unix (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS).

It would be nice if you also had:

Experience with Git version control system and/or micro-services build architecture (Gradle).
Strong problem resolution skills: the ability to learn quickly.
Knowledge of agile software design and test methodologies.
