The Work itself:

• Design code and systems that touch 40% of the world population while influencing Visa’s internal standards for scalability, security, and reusability
• Collaborate multi-functionally to create design artifacts and develop best-in-class software solutions for multiple Visa technical offerings
• Actively contributes to product quality improvements, valuable service technology, and new business flows in diverse agile squads
• Develop robust and scalable products intended for a myriad of customers including end-user merchants, b2b, and business to government solutions
• Leverage innovative technologies to build the next generation of Payment Services, Transaction Platforms, Real-Time Payments, and Buy Now Pay Later Technology

Essential Functions:

• Supports relationship with product owners to gather and refine requirements for one product task, adding and taking into account existing tools and solutions within a product
• Begins to develop and design architect solutions, considering integrations with other solutions
• Provides relevant knowledge on the development of user documentation of solutions and follows standard processes in user documentation.
• Plays a minor role in the development and delivery of new features within a product

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree, OR 3+ years of relevant work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Have expertise of Core Java, JEE technologies, Web technologies, JavaScript and container-based technologies.
• Develop and maintain front-end code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to support package and product development, including extending functionality. Apply strong user interface design principles and deliver UI-Web solutions using Angular, React, JavaScript, jQuery, and HTML-CSS technologies.
• Knowledge of and ability to develop back-end (e.g. Python, Java, C++, PHP) code in support of package and product development.
• The ability to develop and use Application Program Interfaces (APIs) (using SOAP or REST, JSON and XML), a set of routines, protocols, and tools for building software applications that specify how software components should interact and are used when programming graphical user interface (GUI) components.
• Knowledge of and the ability to use application server, database software (e.g., applications, web-based applications, information systems) to maintain, modify, and output data.
• Experience in configuring CI-CD pipelines using industry standard tools such as GIT, Jenkins, Maven etc is needed.
• Hands on experience in Version control using SVN, Git, Bitbucket.
• Working experience with open-source technologies like Prometheus, Grafana, caching, monitoring, and messaging (Ex: Kafka) software.
• Experience in designing and building automation solutions to automate manual business processes involving complex data.
