The Steel Sourcing Analyst will be based in Madrid in Nextracker office. In this position, you will report to our Sr. Sourcing Analyst . The analyst will support the manager in preparing request for proposal for all steel parts in Nextracker product and Global suppliers as well as analyzing offers and cost/capacity models.

Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do…

• Identify patterns in cost analysis to drive sourcing strategy

• Prepare and manage Requests for Quotation (RFQs)
• Analyze steel markets and perform supplier screening and qualification
• Review and analyze quotations
• Develop and maintain suppliers’ scorecards
• Support new supplier development and qualification
• Support process optimization in the Supply Chain department

• Solid structuring and analytical skills to keep track of multiple projects and vendors, in an international and multicultural environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; in particular Excel and PowerPoint. Strong data analysis skills required
• Experience with VBA and PowerBI preferred
• Advanced communication skills (written and verbal)
• Fluent oral and written communications in English
• Results orientation and demonstrated ability to think out of the box to drive results
• Ability to handle ambiguity and respond quickly and flexibly
• Autonomous

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical and/or business major; graduate degree preferred
