SOFTWARE SYSTEM DESIGNER 2

THE ROLE:

This is an exciting role in which you will have excellent exposure to all the latest AMD (Advanced Micro Devices) technologies. Imagine yourself as part of the team which will deliver our next generation of our products or automation for many of our reference solutions. This is a phenomenal opportunity to work in an outstanding company like AMD.

THE PERSON:

You are a self-starter who is able to achieve successful outcomes in a non-hierarchical environment.  Detailed oriented, you have the ability to multitask through planning/organizing.  You have excellent communication and presentation skills and a passion to push the limits of software on innovative platforms.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:  

• Design and develop software applications
• Drive innovation
• Evaluate and optimise workflows
• Develop, test, and support debug tools for Silicon Engineering teams and customers
• Collaborate with peers and technical leads on tooling solutions
• Maintain and support software features
• Participate in design reviews and quality improvements
• Work collaboratively and embrace new challenges

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Ability to code effectively
• Skilled in applying object-oriented design methods
• Practical knowledge of at least one among .NET, C#, C++, Python, or database systems such as MSSQL ,MongoDB etc.
• Strong grasp of programming fundamentals and data structures
• Experience in artificial intelligence or machine learning—whether through work or studies—is a plus
• Understanding of the semiconductor industry is an added advantage

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• • Bachelor’s or Master’s engineering degree in electrical engineering, electronics, computer science, or related field.
