This is a 12-week internship during summer 2026.
The Coinbase Institutional business is seeking highly motivated interns to join the Sales, Trading, and Prime (STP) team for Summer 2026. The STP team comprises functions that engage with our clients, the world's most sophisticated institutions, to introduce new products and features, provide market color, assist with trading, devise financing solutions, and provide client feedback to help inform product development. As an intern, you will rotate through a number of teams, including Sales, Account Management, Execution Services, Financing, Solutions Architect and Research, and come away with a unique understanding of our clients’ needs and the ways in which Coinbase builds relationships and trust through outstanding service and product capabilities. What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties):
- Learning about Institutional products and services from experienced professionals
- Assisting with projects that will grow and improve our business which may include:
- Analyzing data for trends and opportunities
- Creating pitchbooks for client presentations
- Drafting market commentary
- Tracking progress for a product campaign
- Proposing process improvements
- Producing competitor analysis
- Conducting research and creating outreach materials for high value prospects
What we look for in you (ie. job requirements):
- Track record of top performance
- Knowledge of the crypto/blockchain industry
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to act proactively and independently in a dynamic environment
- In your junior year of an undergraduate program (will be a rising senior in summer 2026)
Nice to haves:
- Knowledge of financial markets
- Experience with crypto (e.g., self-custody, DeFi, staking, trading)
