Your Team Responsibilities

As part of the Quality Engineering team, you’ll collaborate closely with Product Management, Development, and DevOps to deliver high-quality, stable, and scalable software releases. Your team ensures continuous quality across all stages of the software development lifecycle by:

•Defining and maintaining test strategies for both manual and automated testing.

•Integrating testing within CI/CD pipelines to enable faster and more reliable deployments.

•Driving continuous improvement in quality processes, tools, and frameworks.

•Monitoring and reporting on automation health, coverage, and quality metrics.



Your Key Responsibilities



Manual Testing

Analyze user stories, business requirements, and acceptance criteria to design detailed test cases and data.

Execute functional, regression, integration, smoke, and exploratory testing for web and API-based applications.

Identify, log, and track defects using tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or TestRail.

Participate in sprint reviews, backlog grooming, and release planning sessions.

Perform root cause analysis and contribute to product quality improvements.



Automation Testing

Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or WebdriverIO.

Implement modular and reusable test scripts using POM, data-driven, or keyword-driven design patterns.

Automate web UI, API, and backend validations.

Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps).

Optimize test scripts for performance, reliability, and parallel execution.

Generate and maintain automation reports using Allure, Extent, or HTML-based frameworks.



CI/CD and Continuous Quality

Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to integrate testing into build and deployment workflows.

Information Classification: GENERAL

Enable automated smoke and regression testing as part of continuous integration.

Contribute to test environment setup and configuration management.

Monitor and report on test coverage, automation health, and quality KPIs.



Your skills and experience that will help you excel

Experience: 4–8 years in QA engineering with a strong blend of manual and automation testing expertise.

Automation Frameworks: Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or WebdriverIO (one or more).

Programming Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java, or C#.

Test Management Tools: Jira, Zephyr, TestRail, Azure DevOps.

CI/CD Tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.

API Testing: Postman, REST Assured, Playwright API Testing.

Version Control: Git, Bitbucket.

Build Tools: npm, Maven, or Gradle.

Strong analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and passion for improving software quality.
