THE PERSON:
A successful candidate is one who can drive technical decisions independently, has accountability for accuracy, reliability and completeness of assignment results critical to the project’s success. This role allows the opportunity to influence technical decisions that have a significant impact on multiple products or the product line.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and enhance data analytics systems based on user requirements
- Analyze and organize raw data to build pipelines data models, algorithms, and prototypes
- Work with multi-functional stakeholders to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs (including new system development)
- Prepare data for prescriptive and predictive modeling to evaluate business needs and achieve objectives.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Experience with being responsible for projects or processes of significant technical importance and for results that cross engineering project areas
- Experience with scripting languages such as Perl, Ruby, shell script
- Proficient in Linux, Unix, or Windows OS
- Statistical analysis experience to resolve population mean and outliers
- Deep knowledge of computer architecture is preferred
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in computer engineering or computer science or electrical engineering, or comparable disciplines
