EDUCATIONAL RECOMMENDATIONS
Currently a 2nd-year candidate for a bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Networking, Technologist, or a related field with an accredited school in Canada.
Your responsibilities
As a part of our team, you will:
- Work with the Lab System Administrators to bring up the lab subnet in the new Network Infrastructure Lab
- Leverage Nokia’s central asset management tool for equipment inventory tracking (serial numbers, loaned equipment, repairs, etc)
- Troubleshoot various issues with network and equipment
- Find/implement ways to improve the lab
Your skills and experience
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, are required
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment
- Strong troubleshooting skills, basic IP knowledge
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Linux/Unix operating systems, installing servers, creating users, groups, and permissions
