Junior Settlement Specialist

About the role:
The Acquirer Settlement Team is responsible for settling payment transactions with clients of the Global Payments group. Day-to-day work focuses on generating and sending transfers to our clients. In this team, you will learn how an international corporation operates, apply or gain practical knowledge of accounting, and develop your skills in systematic execution of repetitive tasks.

Join our team, where you will:
- generate and send transfers related to transactions made using payment instruments
- generate and send direct debit instructions
- generate reports for Global Payments group clients
- issue invoices and financial documents for contractors and verify their accuracy
- post bank statements
- record transactions in the authorization system
- reconcile general ledger account balances

What you need to succeed:
- a university degree (preferably in economics-related fields)
- well-developed analytical skills
- very good knowledge of Excel — creating reports, summaries, tables, and data processing comes easily to you
- strong organizational skills
- good command of English (B2 level)
- knowledge of accounting
