Intern, Software Engineering

The Mastercard Software Engineering Internship Program in Portugal is a 10-week summer program designed for students who want hands-on experience building innovative, secure, and scalable technology solutions. Starting in June 2026, interns will work alongside our engineering teams to contribute to real-world projects across areas such as APIs, cloud technologies, distributed systems, cybersecurity, and full-stack development.

As an intern, you will take on meaningful technical assignments that help develop your engineering capabilities while contributing directly to Mastercard’s global technology ecosystem.

Ability to collaborate effectively across teams in a global environment
