What will you do as a Data Analyst?
Reporting to the Principal Data Scientist, your accountabilities will include:
- Interpret requests for operational and financial data from ourbusiness partners within Cambridge English that are vital to measuring and monitoring the efficacy of 'Business as Usual' operations. As business needs change, it will at times be necessary to adapt your reports or rapidly create queries that produce one-off insights.
- Share data in graphical, dynamic reports which inform business partners of the value of their work
- Automate data pipelines and constantly look for ways to improve data products/connections you have built, while documenting your work to minimise redundant tasks

What makes you the ideal candidate for this role?
An ideal candidate has the following qualities:
Essential:
- Proficient in Excel, Power BI, SQL, PowerApps, and Power Automate
- Minimum of 2 years in data analysis with experience in project delivery, performance tracking, and process implementation.
- Skilled in statistical analysis, forecasting, and complex modeling to support financial and operational decision-making.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and influencing skills; able to communicate data insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and adaptable to challenges and innovative solutions.
Desirable:
- Basic Python experience (particularly with the pandas and PySpark libraries)
- Knowledge of using Hue, Hadoop
