About the Role: In this opportunity as a Corporate Venture Capital, you will:

• Work as a key member of the investment team, conducting market research and company performing investment diligence
• Help identify new market trends and source investment opportunities
• Organize and present research results and write investment memos to inform investment decisions
• Support the team in company pitch meetings, be responsible for detailed notes and follow up communications
• Model a range of cap tables, analyze ownership, dilution and scenario planning for new investments and existing portfolio companies
• Maintain hygiene of our internal systems including deal sourcing pipeline and CRM
• Support portfolio founders on company building activities such as competitive analysis and product intelligence
• Some travel to industry events

About You: You’re a fit for the role of Corporate Venture Capital if you have the following required qualifications:

• Passion for B2B Enterprise Technology and startups with 2-5 years of professional experience
• 2+ years of Venture Capital / Private Equity / Investment Banking experience
• Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
• Ability to take charge of identifying information sources, gathering, and interpreting data, executing analysis, and presenting findings
• Comfortable in dynamic fast paced environment and able to multitask
• Excited to learn and you roll up your sleeves to work on a range of both strategic and tactical challenges

Excellent verbal and written communicator, and listener with the ability to condense complex topics into clear digestible content

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations.Eligible office location(s) for this role include one or more of the following: New York City, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and/or Irvine, CA; McLean, VA; Washington, DC. The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $83,090 - $154,310.This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance.Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
