Description

At Vaulted, we have an aggressive plan to rapidly grow our business and climate impact. Our Business Development team is focused on building partnerships across Agriculture, Waste Management, Municipalities, Paper and Packaging, and any other producer of organic waste to develop new sites to deploy Vaulted’s technology. Vaulted helps partners solve some of their most difficult waste management challenges while permanently removing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. As the Business Development Associate, you will partner closely with the Business Development Directors to support critical project activities and client relationships. Responsibilities include: 

• Deal Ownership and Project Management: own site development from inception to submission for permitting, ensuring scope, budget and timeline objectives are met; cross-functional engagement of Vaulted teams and external stakeholders will be required to shepherd projects through Vaulted’s (and partners’) stage gated site development process
• Relationship Management: nurture and maintain relationships with both new and existing partners
• Reporting and Analysis: track progress, prepare reports and provide insights to BD Directors and full Vaulted team
• BD Support: prepare presentations and proposals for potential partners
• Industry Engagement: attend industry conferences and events to stay informed about industry trends and opportunities and generate new partnership leads

What You Will Bring 

To succeed in this role, and to help the company to succeed in our mission, the Business Development Associate must possess strong project management skills with a bias to action and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. They must also thrive in a fast-paced startup environment with a growing team of ever-changing needs. In addition, we seek a candidate with:  

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a similar related field
• 3+ years of experience in business development, project management, strategic partnerships, consulting, or similar  
• Strong communication skills (written, verbal, interpersonal and presentation – ability to break down problems and communicate ideas in PowerPoint, Excel, and verbally)
• Ability to identify opportunities, analyze data, and develop decision-making solutions
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Domain knowledge within the industrials, manufacturing, and/or agricultural sectors
• Experience with basic financial modeling a plus but not a requirement
• Passion for and commitment to sustainability and the work of climate change mitigation; knowledge of carbon removal and/or waste management is helpful, but not necessary

Salary

$90,000 - $115,000 per year
