12 Month Fixed Term Contract

‍

This is a great job for someone who thrives in a structured environment, enjoys solving data‑related challenges, and is excited by the opportunity to shape and refine governance processes across a large-scale data integration programme. It would particularly suit someone with hands‑on experience in data governance or data protection, who is ready to step into a central, coordinating role that influences how data is managed across the organisation.

‍

‍

A bit about the job:

‍

You’ll play a pivotal role in coordinating and operating our Data Governance and Data Protection (DGDP) processes for a major data integration programme. Acting as the single point of contact for DGDP queries, you’ll manage the full lifecycle of integration-related data requests, ensuring compliant, secure, and well‑governed sharing of data.

‍

You’ll run data request triage processes, maintain governance records, and support stakeholders through clear communication and documentation. You’ll also help to identify and resolve bottlenecks, optimise processes such as access request workflows, and ensure that governance controls are effectively and consistently applied across the programme.

‍

This role is critical to maintaining high standards of data integrity, traceability, and regulatory compliance across an evolving data ecosystem.

Palpable Score

73.7
/ 100
Aviva is one of the clearer large employers for graduates because Aviva publishes structured graduate pathways and apprenticeships with permanent roles, salaries, and a defined two-year development programme. Aviva also shares concrete support mechanisms like induction, mentors, buddies, and an Early Careers Academy. The score is capped by limited published outcomes data and the added uncertainty that comes with large-scale integration and restructuring risk.
