Role Purpose
Overview of Finance Development Program Corning’s summer internship experience is rich with hands-on learning. You’ll live, work, and experience the communities in which Corning operates, while building on-the-job skills. Interns are expected to deliver results against our business and financial objectives, applying knowledge and practices both independently and as a team. Working with a supervisor, you will gain work experience while interacting with key technologies, subject matter experts and leaders. The purpose of the Finance Intern Program is to raise the bar on talent by strengthening our pipeline for entry level roles for immediate and future needs.

Program Requirements
- Must be available for 10 weeks during Summer 2026 (May-August 2026) with a graduation date of December 2026 or later
- Be interested in working for Corning, Inc after graduation, if presented with a full-time job opportunity.
- Be willing to work at the posted job location
Requirements/Education
- Working towards a Bachelor’s degree in: Accounting, Economics, and/or Finance or equivalent
- Working towards a Master’s degree in related area not required but desirable
- Certifications desirable (e.g. CPA, CMA, CFA, etc.)
- Six Sigma Green belt/Black belt certification – a plus
- General cost and accounting knowledge
- Experience in a Finance/ Accounting with class or internship experience
- Attention to detail, accuracy, process-oriented and organized
- Excellent communication (including presentation) skills
- Excellent problem solving capability
- Data driven problem solving capability
- Ability to work independently
- Drive towards continuous process improvement
- Interest in working in different Finance function areas
- Minimum GPA of 3.5
