Title and Summary

Analyst, Business Development

Responsible for driving sales strategies aligned with market goals, managing customer relationships and identifying new business opportunities (hunting and farming process).This role focuses on delivering customized solutions, ensuring high-quality execution, and managing the sales pipeline to support Mastercard’s growth in market share, volume, and revenue.

This role includes collaborating with Product Development to provide design specifications for product enhancements and works closely with technical teams and the Global Technology Organization to define and implement business and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and execute sales and revenue targets aligned with market strategy.

• Lead and manage customer´s relationships, representing MasterCard’s values.

• Compile and analyze data to support business case development.

• Develop strategic messaging and proposals to drive revenue and share growth.

• Monitor portfolio performance and profitability metrics; assess opportunities for additional revenue.

• Provide consultative insights, market analysis, and thought leadership to customers.

• Act as the voice of the customer and market to internal stakeholders.

• Oversee implementation of sales plans, including business development, marketing, and product initiatives.

• Lead customer agreement negotiations, ensuring alignment with global resources.

• Analyze customer business performance using financial forecasting, profitability modeling, and competitive analysis.

• Collaborate with account teams and customers to plan and monitor progress against annual business plans.

• Support cross-functional initiatives and local projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or related field.

• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills in both Spanish and English.

• Strong analytical skills, including P&L analysis and financial forecasting.

• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain business relationships at all levels.

• Results-oriented, customer-focused, and self-driven.

• Willingness to travel and work in dynamic environments. Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

• Solid project management capabilities, including organization, planning, and follow-up.

• Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.• Business acumen and a customer-focused approach to delivering impactful solutions.

• Self-motivated with a proven ability to succeed in a team-oriented environment.

Experience:

• Minimum of 24 months of experience in similar roles.

• Basic understanding of business principles.
