Data Center Operations designs, installs & maintains the world’s largest Cloud Computing Infrastructure. We are looking for Data Center Operations trainees to join our Data Center Operation team. Our scope of work includes Linux systems troubleshooting, repairing servers with hardware, dealing with network issues, handling and tracking parts and assisting in Data Center maintenance. You will be excited to work effectively with minimum supervision and handle multiple priorities. Amazon Data Canters are large-scale high-density centers where you will be working on changing the face of Cloud Technology in the region.
We are offering a Career Re-Start Program featuring a 3-month full-time contract position. This program is designed for both professionals returning from career breaks and those seeking to transition into IT from other industries. During the program period, participants will receive comprehensive training in data center operations through structured mentorship and gain hands-on technical experience. Upon successful completion of the 3-month program, candidates will have the opportunity to convert to full-time Data Center Operations Engineer positions.
• Install and configure data center servers and network systems
• Perform hardware diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Replace hardware components in servers and network devices
• Manage storage media (HDD, SSD etc) operations, including sanitization and destruction
• Handle support tickets within defined Service Level Agreement (SLA)
• Work cross-functionally with internal data center operation teams
• Follow data center operations, security guidelines and safety standards
• Work on shift schedule covering 24/7 operations, including weekends
